VC Founders Market (Braze x The Foundry x Alumni Ventures) / Midtown, Manhattan

This food tech showcase hosted at Braze’s NYC headquarters in partnership with Alumni Ventures and Myca Collective during Climate Tech Week, called the VC Founder’s Market: The Future of Products for People & Planet, brought together founders, investors, and ecosystem builders to experience early‑stage products that are on the forefront of technology.

Rather than a traditional conference, the setup was more like a marketplace-meets-demo floor. Exhibitors had interactive booths where attendees could sample products and talk directly with founders building consumer goods, food systems innovations, and climate‑first packaging. Startups ranged from novel beverages to AI‑driven kitchen technology, and the cross‑sector crowd included investors, angels, operators, and founders.

For coverage like this, I mainly focused on capturing product interactions, and candid conversations between founders and attendees; resulting in a mix of detail shots, people engaging with products, and environmental context so organizers and participants can use the images afterward for press, social, and investor updates. If you’re planning a small convention, startup demo day, or any tech event with mixed booth setups and networking, this is exactly the kind of coverage that translates the experience into usable visuals.
