35mm film Photography

My love of photography began in the age of film, and I still enjoy shooting on vintage cameras (35mm and 120 format, usually). Having worked in several photo labs over the years, I am adept at developing and processing my own film and prints (though I often get them done by an outside service these days). Film, like a lot of analog music formats, just has a certain quality to it that can’t quite be replicated, even with the smartest filters. The unpredictability of the results and the anticipation of waiting to see them lend an extra dimension of mystery and fun to this wonderful medium that digital simply does not deliver.
