September Food Photoshoots (Brooklyn & Manhattan)

September was a busy month for food shoots (17!), with a mix of styles and setups depending on the space and the pace of each kitchen. All of these were shot for DoorDash via Ocus/Snappr, so the baseline was consistency and speed, but I always make time to grab a few extra frames that go beyond the required shots.

Some of these were tight, fast-moving shoots where everything had to happen quickly, others allowed a bit more room to refine the setup. Either way, the goal stays the same. Clean, repeatable images that work across delivery platforms, with a few additional shots that push things a bit further when there is a quiet moment.

If you’re a restaurant and need photos that meet platform requirements but still hold up elsewhere, that’s the balance I bring to these shoots.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using a 24-85mm zoom lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
