Matchmaking Service Portraits in Chelsea, Manhattan
A great dating profile is about more than just a single good headshot, it’s about showing the different sides of who someone is. For this portrait session in Chelsea, I worked with a client through Vida Select, a private upscale matchmaking service, to create a collection of images that felt natural, approachable, and reflective of her personality. We started the session indoors at a Chelsea restaurant, where we relaxed with a glass of wine and captured a more casual, conversational side before moving outside to explore the neighborhood.
Over the course of one hour, we photographed three different looks: a yoga/workout outfit, business casual attire, and a cozy everyday style. Moving between indoor and outdoor locations allowed us to create a variety of images that felt less like traditional portraits and more like a glimpse into someone’s life. If you are an agency that specializes in dating profile management or exclusive matchmaking, let’s talk about how my extensive experience with these types of shoots can be a valuable addition to your services.
