Roman Catholic Baptism Ceremony for 2 Siblings in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Baptisms are always meaningful moments, but this session at St. Brigid’s Church in Bushwick (Brooklyn) stood out because it was a shared celebration—two older siblings being baptized alongside several other families during a group ceremony.
I was there specifically to photograph Fredy’s family over the course of two hours, capturing both the sacred rituals and the natural interactions between family members. It was a little tricky since I wasn’t allowed near the altar during the baptism itself, but thank god I brought a very long lens! Having previously shot a birthday party for Fredy’s daughter, it was great to be able to continue documenting their special milestones.
These important events deserve more than casual, rushed phone pictures—professional photography captures the emotion, detail, and atmosphere in a way that truly honors the moment and creates lasting memories.
